Today is Zoe's 7th birthday.
I took her skiing at Snow Valley in Big Bear.
It was everything wonderful and more.
Children, skis, sleds & snow [snowpants are the secret to good times].
Hot chocolate that burned your tongue and got cold fast.
On the way home she told me that this was her best birthday ever!
Wow! And it's only number seven.
It was a stellar day for me too. Dont get me wrong, it was a ton of work.
Remember, it takes a village.
But for me, it was what I always wanted as a kid.
That little extra love juice that burns into your memory forever.
Marking you as special.
